Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

fresh is looking to hire a Designer to join the Global Store Design team. The Designer, Global for the Global Store Design team has the responsibility for assisting the design and development of Store Design standards worldwide.  This includes supporting in developing brand design concept, partnering with the markets in the development and execution of shop layouts, development and maintenance of fixture design, upkeep of the global fixture library and new fixture prototypes along with partnering and supporting store experience and branding initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and collaborate with the Manager Store Design in the execution of the following:

  • Store Design and Construction
    • Review region-driven shop layouts and designs, support in providing feedback and direction based off of Fresh Merchandising Standards
    • Ability to develop working knowledge of brand identity and aesthetics, with an extraordinary attention to detail
    • Source new materials, samples and vendors on a by-need basis to support local markets and/or global Merchandising developments
    • Track and update weekly Global Store Design tracker, ensuring all projects are maintaining schedule and budget

 

  • Global Store Design
    • Collaborate with the markets and serve as a proactive resource and partner for maintaining excellence and consistency in branded store design
    • Partner with Manager of SD to develop fixtures, establish brand standards and elevated tools for Global store design
    • Contribute to the Design Manual and fixture library for distribution to various consultants and internal visual team
    • Establish global store opening templates, checklists and communication standards
    • Evolve store design elements and fixtures to meet the growing and changing needs of the business 

     

 

 

  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Manage image library of global shops and openings
    • Collect central Merchandising invoices and administrative work
    • Manage and execute additional projects on as-needed basis

Profile

  • 1-2 years in Project Management, Architectural Design or Store Design, with a strong desire to grow and learn
  • Store knowledge and interest in retail design and fabrication/production
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, AutoCad, Sketch-up, Rhino and Microsoft programs required
  • Experience in luxury retail preferred
  • Strong team spirit with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for cosmetic retailing and entrepreneurial work environment
