Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Designer, Global Store Design has the responsibility for assisting the design and development of Store Design standards worldwide. While supporting n the development, evolution, and upkeep of the global fixture libraries, the Designer, Global Store Design will establish detailed 2D drawings and 3D rendering for new fixture prototypes, along with partnering and supporting store experience and branding initiatives. As a member of fresh's Global Visual Merchandising and Store Design team, the Designer, Global Store Design will report directly to the Manager of Global Store Design.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop working knowledge of brand identity and aesthetics, with an extraordinary attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the markets and serve as a proactive resource and partner for maintaining excellence and consistency in branded store design
  • Partner with Manager of SD to develop fixtures, establish brand standards and elevated tools for Global store design
  • Contribute to the Design Manual and fixture library for distribution to various consultants and internal visual team
  • Evolve store design elements and fixtures to meet the growing and changing needs of the business
  • Create comprehensive 2D drawings to accurately depict materiality and detailing
  • Establish 3D models to evolve and showcase concept design intent
  • Execute ad hoc projects on as-needed basis for the total Global Store Design and Visual Merchandising teams

Profile

  • Five to eight years in Project Management, Architectural Design, Store Design, Interior Design or Industrial Design with a strong desire to grow and learn
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline
  • Store knowledge and interest in retail design and fabrication/production
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suites, AutoCad, Sketch-up, and Microsoft programs required
  • Experience in luxury retail preferred
  • Passion for cosmetic retailing and entrepreneurial work environment
  • Strong team spirit with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
