JOB PURPOSE
Supports Digital Communications team to ensure a strong and impactful Dior presence across all digital platforms, including web, social media, and e-communications; supports the efforts of Global HQ by building strong relationships with editors, digital content providers and tastemakers throughout the fashion industry.
Profile
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support digital public relations strategy to enhance brand image and increase retail and ecommerce sales
- Develop and maintain relationships with digital media platforms, increasing editorial coverage in national and regional outlets to better enhance the exposure of Dior products in quality and quantity
- Work with the Paris digital communications team to create and execute global digital communications strategy in US and Canada
- Maintain a well-organized database of digital assets, press texts and brand communication tools across all categories
- Working with merchandising team to ensure cohesive message delivered in tandem with seasonal buys
- Manage sample requests, trafficking and send outs across all digital media shoots and influencer talent loans
- Assist and support department as directed by carrying out administrative assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with and manage media outreach including proactive and reactive media pitching
- Execute and distribute daily, weekly and project-based digital media press reports
- Research competitive activity and conceptualize digital press initiatives
- Collaborate with advertising, merchandising and marketing departments to identify key digital press opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of Public Relations experience with a luxury fashion brand; Digital PR and Marketing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the fashion industry as it relates to digital media
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across the organization at all levels
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial and sensitive nature
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job including a strong knowledge of FGPS
- Proven track record of successful media outreach to national and local media outlets
