· Digital Marketing Calendar Planning & Management
o Oversee execution of digital marketing calendar as the executive producer for the projects.
o Collaborate with marketing manager in planning year calendar with initiatives that communicate brand DNA
o Work with marketing manager to ensure projects are assigned, initiated, and executed in a timely manner
o Develop and execute social media campaigns and messages as needed to drive sales across activities and campaigns.
o Manage 2 to 3 team members in digital team.
o Utilize analytical tool to understand the performance of campaigns and messaging, as well as customer segmentation, in order to drive smart and successful digital campaigns and continually tune to optimize content and drive sales and brand awareness.
· Messaging & Content
o Identify opportunities to serve Benefit fans and customers with new beauty and brand-building content. Oversee the voice and development of this new content.
o Brainstorm & concept key marketing messages.
o Work with 3rd agencies to ensure that product and brand messaging is on target, on voice, and matches company standards.
o Oversee and proof all digital copy to ensure quality.
o Collaborate with media agency to oversee a periodic audit of search engine content and paid search ads to ensure that the voice and keywords are appropriate and on brand.
o Watch trends in digital space to propose where we can utilize and execute
· Social Influence Marketing
o Lead Benefit's social media programs in China.
o Evolve Benefit's China social media programs through our weibo, weixin, tudou, youku, douban, etc. Advocate the voice of the customer back to Benefit.
o Collaborate with marketing manager to establish standards for measuring and benchmarking the effectiveness of our social media practices in order to drive continuous improvement.
> The ideal candidate will have experience managing digital within a multi-channel company or agency.
> All candidates must have 5+ years previous experience in digital marketing, online retail or product management, with a strong track record working in the digital space, and a strong vision for the evolution of the space.
> Demonstrated ability to manage a p&l or line of business. Core operational strength and the ability to make the right budget decisions to drive business success.
> Demonstrated experience managing quantitative information in order to drive business decisions.
> The ability to leverage proven customer acquisition and retention strategies, and a drive to understand and anticipate customer needs.
> A deep understanding of social media and how it is changing customer behaviors online.
> Ability to incorporate a strong aesthetic sense into our work, to evaluate copy, and to align marketing messages for a superior customer experience and brand communication.
> Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, develop, and grow teams and to be inspiring to others.
> Strong organizational and planning skills.
> Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
> Analytical skills to draw conclusions from sales reports, web analytics, and other systems.
> Ability to work well across the organization and with 3rd parties.
> Experience in cosmetics, luxury, fashion, and/or consumer packaged goods a plus.
