We are looking for a strong candidate to lead the development for our Supply Chain & Merchandise systems, the candidate should come with a passion for technology and a desire to apply technology to meet the business objectives. You will own, develop and continuously improve the applications for the core business within DFS.


  • Responsible for providing in depth content expertise and knowledge on Supply Chain, Logistics & Merchandise processes for retail operations and distribution centers, from a technical and systems' perspective
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, which includes setting and managing their expectations, identifying needs and evaluating alternative business solutions
  • Will be a part of the Governance Board, involve and provide input on the Global Technology Strategy. The successful candidate is required to deliver high level assessments in a short period of time, and able to make timely strategic decisions
  • Create a Customer Centric approach, ensure the solutions are meeting the business requirements and processes; take lead on identifying areas for continuous improvement 
  • Interacts with Business, Service Delivery and Service Providers on decision-making processes related to the new solutions; focusing on resources, timeline, budget and vendor management
  • Manage a team of Solution Architects, Business Analysts and external consultants from different areas; to ensure, enforce and apply the best practices in Retail industry to DFS

Additional information

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or Logistics
  • At least 10 years of relevant technical experience in SCM, WM, Retail and/or Consumer Goods
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience for big implementations in the areas such as SCM, WM, Master Data Management and Trading in Retail and/or Consumer Goods industries in consulting or multinationals companies
  • Experienced in working with C-levels, strong on internal and external resources management, financial responsibility and IT strategy development is required
  • Willingness to travel

Certifications in following areas will be preferred:

  • PMP or ITIL Official Certifications for Project Management or Services Management
  • Projects Quality Assurance, SAP Retail, JDA, MDM and TXT Retail

Excellence understanding for:

  • Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Management processes with complex distribution centers environment and processes, including international purchases and deliveries. Applicable to the major ERPs in the market (SAP, JDA, Manhattan, ...)
  • Omni-channel Commercial processes in the Retail or Consumer Goods industries
  • Strong integrations knowledge and implications with critical internal areas and external data providers such as EDICOM, GS1, 1WorldSync, SAP HCI etc.
  • Global Trade Regulations (Customs)
  • Experience with support tools, Project management and collaboration tools
