Position

As a Distribution Planner, you will be managing the supply and distribution of Non-Merchandising products (Packaging/Uniforms). You will need to anticipate and react with respect to the needs and evolution of the zone.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Support the procurement of Non-Merchandising products from external suppliers

  • Monthly review of the forecast and monitoring / improvement of the accuracy
  • Anticipate needs in the aspect of seasonal peaks and exceptional events
  • Calculate weekly replenishment orders with logistical optimization

 

Support the distribution of Non-Merchandising items to various countries within the South Asia Zone

  • Support the stores in streamlining the management of Non-Merchandising products
  • Review replenishment target based on consumption patterns and delivery lead time
  • Coordinate with regional warehouse to ensure timely distribution of Non-Merchandising products

 

Lend support towards an optimized and lean stock level of the Non-Merchandising products

  • Provide a clear overview of regional stock level to anticipate tense stock situations
  • Reduce dead stock and monitor slow moving references

 

Participate in the objective for a more efficient process

  • Develop KPI indicators to monitor smooth running of the activity
  • Analyze how to provide better service to the stores

 

Participate in the distribution of specialized packaging products for exceptional product launches or publicity campaigns

  • Ensure timely distribution of seasonal or specialized packaging products before launch date (e.g. Christmas Animations)
  • Define appropriate logistics procedures to provide maximum value added service to stores

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain with preferably 3 years of Supply Chain planning experience
  • Competency in Inventory Planning and efficient cost impact analysis
  • Familiarity with luxury industry
  • Knowledge in Logistics, customs aspects will be an advantage

 

Skills:

  • Quantitative analytical skills and computer savvy
    • Reliability in data analysis
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft (particularly Excel)
    • VBA, ODBC, experience in SAP is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
    • Able to work across functional areas / levels of the organization and to interact at distance
    • Able to simplify and synthesize information
