Louis Vuitton is seeking a temporary Distribution Planning Seasonal based in our New York office who will be responsible for managing the inventory levels for Ready To Wear, Exotics, Hardsided and Watches & Jewelry to support the sales in their network of stores. This position will be starting as soon as possible and will conclude on December 31st. The Distribution Planning Seasonal will use their analytical skills and market knowledge to monitor distribution, proactively contribute to meeting sales target and ensure appropriate availability rate with optimal stock level. The Distribution Planning Seasonal will also be responsible for automating inventory tools, reports and stock movements. 


As someone who is skilled in problem solving and familiar with systems, you will ensure the inventory deployment according to the demand and inventory level is in coordination with the demand manager and identify opportunities of product re-balancing in distribution networks. You will also plan and organize new product launches as well as end of life product strategies. Additionally, this individual will lead cross-functional projects related to Distribution and Supply Chain optimization and in such as Assortment Efficiency Management with Merchandising, Distribution Center Workload Planning with Logistics, etc. The Distribution Planning Seasonal will anticipate and assess the impacts of unexpected events on demand and sales on the planning horizon.


We are eager to speak to professionals with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1+ years of experience in Inventory Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain, and/or Merch Allocation. This individual will have great team spirit and excellent adaptability and tolerance in pressure situations.  You will have elevated communication and organizational skills, a customer focus attitude, extremely detail oriented, client centric and have strong analytical skills.  In addition, you will have excellent Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power PI skills and are easily adaptable to internal systems. With strong creativity to implement tools/dashboards/systems this individual will bring the entrepreneurial spirit! French and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
