Position

Louis Vuitton has a unique opportunity for a e-Retail Manager based out of our New York City office that will manage the strategy and development for emerging markets to reach maximum sales potential across all product categories. The Louis Vuitton Americas digital team presents compelling online brand experiences throughout North and Latin America while consistently maximizing e-commerce opportunities.

 

Key responsibilities for this individual will include managing product offer across all categories, analyzing product & site performance, driving local digital merchandising strategy & execution, supporting digital team synergies and managing launch of new markets. You will act as the key contact with all zone merchandising & supply chain teams. You also will identify sales volume and category opportunities along with making recommendations regarding optimization of product offer. The e-Retail Manager will conduct weekly, monthly and ad hoc business reporting to provide continuous insights into business strengths and opportunities and make strategic recommendations to optimize digital activity.  Additionally, you will drive campaign planning for commercial periods such as holiday, mother's day and large launches. As the manager of launching new markets, the e-Retail Manager will oversee the growth and development of new markets by providing clear direction on strategic objectives throughout the year and creating growth opportunities within the different initiatives of the area.


Profile

We are eager to speak to individuals with a Bachelors degree, business degree preferred and 5-7 years of retail or merchandising and/or e-commerce experience.  The ideal candidate embraces exceptional attention to detail with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, along with digital savvy and an understanding of luxury codes. Experience with content management systems a plus.  In addition, you will have exceptional Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical abilities. You will be highly driven, organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines while remaining flexible to the changes in priorities. French, Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking a plus.
