OVERVIEW

The Ecommerce Manager will support the Digital business across the Americas, managing the online product catalogue for US, and Canada as well as supporting special partnerships.  Primary functions will include providing detailed sales & KPI reporting, managing the launch of new products and removal of discontinued styles, visually merchandising the website, mitigating online content errors, reviewing client feedback, and optimizing cross-selling and internal search.  The ideal candidate embraces a fast-paced environment and has exceptional communication skills along with digital savvy and an understanding of luxury codes.

 

 


Profile

Overview of responsibilities:

Product & Visual Merchandising Content Management

  • Provide day to day support by updating the fendi.com website using the Content Management System (CMS):
    • Refresh the sequence of the product selection shown in respective filters
    • Visually merchandise relevant on-site search results
    • Prepare Cross-Selling opportunities
    • Remove discontinued products from the site
    • Ensure price changes are correctly displaying
  • Organize and execute online launch plans for Digital offer
    • Liaise with the digital merchandising team in Rome to ensure on time delivery of product assets
    • Partner with Digital fulfillment team to validate new products are accurately represented on web
  • Consistently audit the site and review client feedback to ensure quick resolution of website errors
    • Advise on existing issues or needs regarding visuals, pictures, texts, and animations

Change main SKUs or product placement based on stock availability and strategic product focus

Reporting & Analysis

  • Pull sales reporting and analyze performance by gender, category, and SKU to identify opportunities to maximize digital sales
  • Use Google Analytics to track key performance indicators such as traffic, click thru rate, bounce rate, & conversion to maximize client engagement
  • Review product availability and stock forecast to help make informed, strategic decisions on site placement
  • Analyze key luxury and digital competitors to identify best in class examples for strategic proposals, with focus on commercial events

Communication & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with Digital Production & Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution for products featured in web content & communications
  • Work closely with Digital Merchandising team in Rome to ensure timely delivery of assets and troubleshoot systems issues
  • Review local offer with zone Merchandising teams, tailoring the Digital client experience to align with local priorities

E-commerce Operations

  • Work with zone merchandising and supply chain to manage pre-order fulfillment
  • Partner with brick and mortar retail team to execute Buy Online From Store, Pick Up In Store and all other omnichannel initiatives
  • Support ASM with client case management

Knowledge and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Special Skills:

  • Digital savvy & tech friendly: understanding of digital client experience and proficiency with online content management systems
  • Sensibility for luxury products and fashion, understanding of "luxury codes"
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail with ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Analytical skills with experience with sales & digital performance metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Foreign language skills, Italian/Spanish/Portuguese a plus

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in merchandising and e-commerce, preferably in a luxury setting
