The Glenmorangie Company have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join our Production team at our bottling facility in Livingston, West Lothian. Reporting to the Production Manager, the purpose of the role is to maintain the bottling line machines. You will be responsible for undertaking line improvements, routine maintenance, fault finding, and line breakdowns in order to ensure the effective utilisation of the line and to maximise efficiency. Key Responsibilities: >  Ensure planned maintenance program is carried out on schedule >  Attend line breakdowns and carry out reactive work >  Support and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives >  Provide support to the bottling team >  Proactively identify and order spare parts as required >  Identify the cause of quality defects and ensure the issue is resolved satisfactorily >  Propose and implement quality and productivity improvements on lines >  Support installation and commissioning of new equipment >  Formally communicate handover at start and finish of shift >  Participate in team meetings on and off line >  Support line team and engineers team as required >  Work within health and safety standards and ensure workspace is kept clean and tidy >  Complete relevant documentation for maintenance records >  Ensure quality of finished goods meets brand standard


Technical Skills & Experience Required: >  Qualification in relevant discipline/HNC or equivalent >  Qualified to minimum 17th Edition >  Electrically timed served with recognised apprenticeship >  Ability to read electrical drawing >  Logical approach to fault diagnosis relating automated equipment >  Experience in FMCG production environment >  Good communications skills >  Analytical (understands technical aspects/fine detail) >  Good problem solving skills/ CI Knowledge Personal & Interpersonal Skills: >  Pro active >  Customer focused >  Results focused >  Self-motivated >  Flexible >  Ability to make clear logical decisions whilst under pressure >  Have an uncompromising attitude to quality >  Team player >  Ability to work without supervision
