Reporting to our Regulatory, Product Safety & Environment Senior Manager, you help coordinating the environmental regulatory monitoring and strategy of the business unit.
In this role, you guarantee the compliance of new & existing products with international environmental laws, Nagoya protocol and ABS regulations, and you will manage all data relating to the natural/natural-derived raw materials (ethnobotany, sourcing and traceability, manufacturing process...).
You assure the consistency of the environmental claims and marketing communication elements.
You also provide information and guidance on how to respond to question on certain subjects related to perfumes and cosmetics.
Finally, you ensure compliance of packaging artworks with the key worldwide regulatory requirements.
You have a university degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environment or equivalent diploma and at least 3 years regulatory affairs experience ideally in fragrance or skincare industry. You have a strong expertise in ingredients and of worldwide cosmetic laws, relevant chemical and environmental regulations/standards (REACH, CLP, Nagoya Protocol, ISO 16128, etc.). A sound knowledge and concern of environmental matters are key in this position, and your understanding of worldwide labeling requirements is significant.
Fluent in French and in English, other language an advantage. Some good knowledge of MS-office, particularly R&D dedicated databases (formulation and regulatory software) are required.
