POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Manager, Facilities Maintenance is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and monitoring procurement for all services within stores and the corporate offices In Fendi Americas. The Facilities Maintenance Manager is also responsible for vendor and supplier selection, supervision and coordination of all ongoing maintenance, repairs and minor work projects. The Facilities Maintenance Manager developments and implements preventive maintenance plans, at Corporate offices and Store levels and is responsible for the day to day management and monitoring of all facilities maintenance and services to ensure a high quality client experience across the Retail network.


Profile

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Management and monitoring of maintenance contracts and projects in order to ensure a seamless in store and corporate office experience for Fendi Americas employees and clients
  • Work with the Business, Retail and Store Planning to align requirements and targets annually
  • Day to day management of Facilities maintenance, repairs and minor work projects in a timely manager and in line with the Maintenance Opex Budget
  • Develop and maintain a broad network of vendors to address a variety of store and office facilities and maintenance needs
  • Regularly negotiate vendor agreements managing annual RFP process per guidance from HQ
  • Prepare Facilities summaries and ensure all projects achieve full internal financial approval and meet Business Process requirements.
  • Produce and distribute reports and information as required to maintain oversight into ongoing projects
  • Provide the business with updates on property activity/legislation etc., that could affect impact the organization
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies, executing audits as necessary
  • Service channel system use and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance within organizational and state and local Health & Safety guidelines at all times
  • Support Security aspects of the business

Additional information

JOB SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in luxury retail environment
  • BA or equivalent degree preferred
  • The ability to read and understand complicated electrical, mechanical and automation systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
  • Strong project management skills and problem skills
  • Process oriented with ability to manage long-term and short-term projects in simultaneously 
  • Strong negotiator, demonstrating the ability to manage complicated agreements as needed
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift boxes / weight of up to 10lbs
  • Foreign language skill a plus
