Position

General Purpose of the Position:

The Facilities Supervisor will manage the maintenance for all Loro Piana retail and wholesale doors, as well as the corporate office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance management supporting ongoing needs for Retail and Wholesale channels
  • Responsible for corporate office and eShop upkeep
  • Negotiate prices and contracts for maintenance
  • Coordinates vendor training initiatives and performance feedback
  • Maintain established preventive service schedules
  • Interfaces with Landlord and Government departments to adhere to lease standards and code policies
  • Upkeep of inspections (e.g. fire safety and elevators)
  • Monthly visit to NY flagship to maintain standards
  • Travel to locations required to uphold standards
  • Assess forecast preventive measures and best practices
  • Sustainability analysis/efforts supporting LVMH goals
  • Manages regional/ multi-regional/national vendors for facilities repair and maintenance. Prepares requests for proposal from regional vendors for preventive maintenance contracts. Troubleshoots specific technical issues for the vendors
  • Manages repair and maintenance in operating and capital budgets
  • Tracks and analyzes budgets and makes recommendations for action
  • Publishes internal reports
  • Establishes service levels for stores, equipment technicians, contractors and vendors

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Technical understanding of retail environment maintenance
  • Ability to manage ServiceChannel for region
  • Analytical skills reporting and managing KPIs for store maintenance activity and budgets
  • Exceptional communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Project management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to operate with some autonomy, problem-solving strengths, and team work ethics
  • Familiarity with SAP and Indirect Procurement process
  • Ability to travel domestic and international
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Projects, Adobe Photoshop, and AutoCAD

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering field a plus
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in applicable retail store operations and/or maintenance function
  • Strong experience managing ServiceChannel software for region
  • Experience working with SAP Purchase Order Management
  • Experience with vendor management and negotiating prices
