> Oversee the preparation of all budgets and forecasts (budget, revision 1, 2, and 3-year plan). To develop & improve Budget / Forecast preparation to be more reasonable, deliverable and realistic based on previous years actual concepts and data.
> Monitor the finance management system and ensure proper budget control
> Provide financial and business support to the Finance Director overall decisions
> Produce commercial analysis information and follow up as required to give an accurate view of the operations
> Gather necessary information related to competition intelligence and business environment
> Coordinate with suppliers to ensure synergies and cost effectiveness
> Drive costs negotiations and cost reductions wherever possible
Statutory accounting and reporting, taxes treasury, legal/administration
> In charge of the quarterly financial reporting, the consolidation package and the adjustment entries to be made in the local management books
> Ensure that the subsidiaries comply with all social, tax and legal regulations and provisions
> Manage all investments/financing needs with the support of the regional office
> Control daily cash reconciliation of the stores and monthly bank/credit card reconciliations
> Maintain an updated follow up of corporate contractual/legal matters and ensure a proper insurance of company assets. Assist coordinating with Store manager and insurance company to facilitate insurance claims, etc.
> Supervise payroll accounting
> Coordinate follows up of corporate legal matters with the local lawyer and/or regional office
> Coordinate all legal matters relating to real estate and ensure the compliance of all leases
> Implement relevant local, LV procedures and controls and ensure that they are applied and followed.
> Improve systems, policies and procedures on an on-going basis and ensure proper documentation and implementation to cope with the objectives of the Subsidiaries.
> Apply and/or implement recommendations arising from internal and external audits
> Coordinate the interface between computer users, IS &T SG and local IT supplier (analysis of needs, book of requirements) and all central information system teams.
> Ensure the necessary adaptation of information systems to cope with the objectives of the subsidiaries.
> Liaise and support the Regional IS&T department to provide user support for commercial software (used in the stores) and maintenance / set up of the mainframes and all financial software.
> Design, implement and monitor Business Continuity Plan
> Control and manage inventory: organize rotating stock-takes and monthly/quarterly inventory counts as required
> Control and follow stock discrepancies, suggest and implement action plans
> Lead Logistic Supervisor in dealing with Customs administration and compliance
> Build and maintain an efficient and effective Accounting Department equipped to meet all local and regional reporting requirements
> Manage and monitor the performance of the team via regular evaluation of performance and timely feedback to ensure continuous improvement
> 3 - 5 years management/leadership experience
> A degree in commerce or economics
> CPA qualified is preferred
> 7 years minimum accounting and financial systems reporting experience or other relevant experience
> Analytical and multi-tasking skills
> Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
> Judgment and mature business skills; the ability to develop trust of Senior Management
> Computer skills (SAP, Excel)
> Proficiency in Vietnamese and English
