Louis Vuitton is seeking a Financial Controller based in our New York City office that will lead the accounting function and ensure the accuracy and reliability of Louis Vuitton Americas financials. This role will be responsible for the direct management of the accounting of both the LV North America and Caribbean entities, while overseeing the accounting activities in Mexico and Brazil subsidiaries. The Financial Controller will apply appropriate accounting policies and procedures to support company business plans, report activities and comply with internal control principles and IFRS requirements.
The Financial Controller will oversee the close process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, while also managing audit and relationship with outside firms. Additionally, the role will manage and coordinate with LVMH Inc compliance related activities, and partner with FP&A and Paris reporting teams to provide accurate financials and participate in financial analysis. The Financial Controller will serve at LVMH Health and Welfare Steering and Pension Committees, while managing and mentoring staff to strengthen the financial organization.
We are eager to speak to individuals that have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting distinctions, preferably with an MBA and/or CPA, and a minimum of fifteen years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have advanced quantitative, analytical and computer skills, in addition to knowledge of SAP. Spanish language skills, international company and retail industry experience are a plus!
