Position

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Forecast sell-in by SKU and by month for basic lines and launches for Make-Up For Ever and Acqua Di Parma.
  • Position is full time in our East Brunswick, NJ office. Occasional travel to NY office may be required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage basic forecasts in Future Master forecast system for all basic SKU's through model management, parameter maintenance, and sell-in/sell-out analysis (rolling 18 month)
  • Coordinate launches & animations forecasts with marketing and sales
  • Ensure all forecast deadlines are met by all teams
  • Work in close relation with sales team to ensure forecast consistency and understand anything that could impact sell in (animations, change in strategy, merchandising update)
  • Work with supply planner to anticipate and mitigate inventory issues
  • Work on inventory in distribution data to improve forecast accuracy
  • Ensure maintenance of the item master (item status, end of life dates)
  • Train all marketing & sales newcomers on forecast deadlines and responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly KPI analysis and monthly meetings documents
  • Conduct all other job-related

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • College degree, certification, and/or equivalent experience in the field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years sell in forecast experience, preferably for a company that supplies goods to major US dept stores, or solid training in this area
  • Experience with Future Master forecasting system preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain, supply planning, inventory management (ex : APICS certification)
  • Very strong ability to work with deadlines and hold other people to these deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with all departments and France headquarters
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Well-organized and able to multi-task effectively
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with large databases and numbers
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Willingness to find core problems
  • Familiar with Power BI a plus
  • Fluency or working knowledge of French preferred but not required
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
