We have an exciting senior career opportunity for a hospitality leader to work closely with our Estate Director and be responsible for the strategic, operational and commercial performance of the onsite hospitality, tourism cellar door and direct to consumer business, which together form the face of the Chandon brand in the Yarra Valley. Managing a team of talented kitchen, service, retail, wine club and customer experience staff,
You will be responsible for:

>  Commercial Management - managing strategic opportunities, overall performance, budgeting and planning, KPI's and reporting;
>  Wine Retail Sales Performance - Developing an exceptional cellar door and direct to consumer sales proposition, focused on differentiation and wine quality to engage loyal Chandon customers.
>  Hospitality - Driving a bespoke tasting and dining experience which celebrates Chandon's unique heritage and iconic position
>  Customer/Guest Experience - Developing, leading and ensuring a premium and consistent wine focused customer experience together with high quality food and uncompromising style and service;
>  People Management - creating and sustaining a high performance & rewarding talent environment;


In order to be successful in this position, you will have:
>  A commercial mindset with experience in a luxury hospitality, retail or premium F&B environment with a focus on customer experience and team management
>  Degree qualifications in a business or related discipline
>  An obvious enthusiasm and energy for premium customer engagement with a calm and constructive disposition, able to manage well under pressure;
>  A competitive streak with a desire to always improve and excel;
>  A real people-person, taking delight in engaging with and inspiring customers and employees;
>  Confident and credible, a natural at communicating with all our visitors, VIP's and Wine Industry professionals;
>  Organized, efficient and consultative, manages the back-office seamlessly to ensure focus on the front of house and strategic opportunity;
