Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Global E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for implementing the brand's direct-to-consumer e-commerce strategy across fresh.com and social shopping platforms in the brand's main markets.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Digital, based in New York, this role will work strategically and in partnership with Global IT, Marketing & Creative teams as well as local markets digital teams in order to maintain, optimize and develop fresh.com in its eight operating markets. The Global E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for managing the brand's technological innovation roadmap, and implementing it with the support of a development agency the e-commerce project coordinator.

Fresh is looking for a strategic thinker and business-oriented manager who is able to drive the brand's fast e-commerce growth across key regions. The Global E-Commerce Manager must have a data-driven approach to problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations 

  • Lead Global E-commerce strategy and operational guidelines
  • Manage global fresh.com enhancement roadmap and budget
  • Liaise with the brands local digital teams and gather needs and business requirements
  • Lead the international e-commerce expansion as well as the social shopping development strategy for the brand
  • Compile monthly recaps for senior management teams on global e-commerce business
  • Power use of analytics tools (GA, Contentsquare) to identify actionable business opportunities and improvements on a monthly basis
  • Develop and present regular competitive analyses and audits of E-Commerce best practices and convert analyses into insights and new ideas
  • Partner with design and development to execute site improvements and new features roll-out
  • Partner with the LVMH digital teams on e-commerce forward thinking and innovation projects

Project Management

  • Create and manage workplans, drive team resourcing, and provide weekly status reports on all active projects.
  • Create weekly executive management reports in collaboration with digital leadership.
  • Support Global Digital Senior Director on bi-weekly steering committee meetings for fresh.com
  • Manage third party development vendors and in-house digital design team in day-to-day tasks.
  • Hold weekly status calls with international teams and provide summaries of issues and requests.
  • Work with e-commerce leaders to understand and support international teams as they plan and implement campaigns in the markets.
  • Oversee execution of translations, test plans and lead the QA process for the suite of sites.
  • Maintain and update budgets for assigned digital programs.

 

Release Management

  • Oversee the e-commerce project coordinator's work on release management and site maintenance through the JIRA ticketing system
  • Communicate site release calendars across internal teams, global business owners and third-party vendors.
  • Work with key business owners to prioritize and manage ticket flow and backlog, ensure progress and remove roadblocks
  • Resolve issues, solve problems and ensure quality control throughout the release lifecycle.

 

 

 


Additional information

  • Bachelor's degree
  • E-Commerce generalist with proven experience growing a brand's E-Commerce business rapidly: Five or More years of experience
  • Experience in SalesForce CommerceCloud is a requirement
  • Experience working in a multi-site or multi-country environment; prefer some experience working with international markets.
  • Previous experience in the beauty industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail and quality. Must be proactive in retrieving and following up on all assets necessary to get the job done.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment
  • Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects.
