Position

We are looking for a Global Education Content Development Director to join Fresh in our headquarters located in New York City! The main objective of this position is to be an independent thinker, responsible for working with the Global Education team in creating, implementing and continually elevating, engaging, resourceful training materials that educate, inspire, develop and improve service levels and ultimately drive sales in our company channels.

 

The Global Education Content Development Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with regional and market education and training teams, global and regional marketing teams, product development, creative services, digital, and all sales leadership teams.

 

 

The Global Education Content Development Director will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Review and understand business goals and objectives and help create strategies in collaboration with cross functional partners to deliver education materials that educate, inspire, develop and evolve service and selling skills, drive sales, and improve key performance indicators
  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with regional and market education teams, regional and global marketing teams, and other key partners in the business
  • Take the lead in designing, developing and implementing multi-channel educational tools and training materials necessary to support regional/market education teams, and field teams in delivering exceptional customer service to drive sales, support key launches and drive brand awareness
  • Responsible for the continuous review, and revision of existing educational programs and tools based on business needs
  • Develop education programs for varied methods of delivery including in-store trainings, facilitator-led classroom trainings, point-of-sale coaching and digital learning
  • Work with partners to create training modules, tools and materials necessary for Seasonal schools, TTT, in-store trainings
  • Work with cross functional partners and outside vendors to help project manage education video production
  • Help plan, attend, participate and help facilitate during TTT sessions, department meetings and conference calls
  • Help to monitor field training to ensure successful execution and assess learning levels to inform future trainings
  • Help maintain Global Education Production Timeline
  • Attend trainings in market to evaluate success of trainings and integrate feedback into future projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create education collateral, ensuring global ed materials support brand vision
  • Create visual materials to support Global Education strategy working in Excel and PPT

Profile

In order to qualify for the Global Education Content Development Director position, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • College degree
  • 7+ Cosmetic industry experience including experience working with Sephora and Travel Retail environments
  • Strategic thinker and creative writer
  • Proven ability to design, develop and create educational materials ensuring sales goals are met
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of internal/external customer, translating those needs into elevated educational materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, continually evolving environment
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Excel, PPT and Microsoft Office proficient
  • 25% travel as needed
  • Must possess professional appearance with the ability to uphold Fresh Dress Code Guidelines
