fresh is seeking an experienced Communications professional to support the brand on a global capacity and will play a key role in developing existing and emerging international markets.


The Head of Global Communications will oversee the strategy and execution for fresh's Global Public Relations and influencer marketing efforts with measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will work on creating consistent brand imaging across all markets, including the overall strategy, influencer/KOL/celebrity relations, founder management and global events. In addition, this position will be the direct liaison with all markets' local communications teams to manage local execution of global strategy, analyze/report back launch plans and results.




  • Plan and execute comprehensive global communication strategies, launch guidelines, product launches and events for fresh Global (North America, China, APAC, & Europe)
  • Guide markets on local execution of programs, communicate on their needs, and strengthen their local launch plans in accordance with global communications strategy
  • Create all product launch components including guidelines, releases and support materials such as pitches, Q&As, launch concepts, presentations and press kits
  • Work closely with Product Development and Marketing to ensure that PR launches are in sync with global calendars and product information
  • Communicate with markets on an ongoing basis including managing daily requests/questions, queries on PR strategy, information requests and spokespeople interviews
  • Organize global press trips and international press events with brand spokespeople
  • Brainstorm with markets on new pitch angles and trend stories
  • Liaise with outside suppliers (freelance writers, video producers, graphic designers) on ideas/production needs for any branded materials
  • Share and provide learnings for the benefit of all markets on launch strategies
  • Manage limited edition collaboration products including concepting, collaborator, and go to market strategy
  • Aid in developing social strategy linked to event and market activations
  • Stay informed of platform updates across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, WeChat, Kakao, editorial publishers and emerging digital platforms to leverage for earned media
  • Understands data to direct decision making and inform communications strategy
  • Manage crisis strategy, process and external agency to support
  • Manage budget, direct reports and team of four


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 plus years of domestic and international communications experience, preferably within the beauty/ fashion, lifestyle and/or retail industry, China experience and founder management/relationships is a plus
  • Passion for beauty and fresh
  • Experience in influencer marketing
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different departments to eliminate silos and achieve aligned objectives
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, extremely organized and ability to prioritize
  • Candidate must demonstrate flawless attention to detail, be a team player, multi-tasker, creative thinker and excellent communicator
  • A natural relationship -builder with the ability to work well with a strong network of peers and partners
  • Experienced in digital analytics and social listening tools, measuring campaign performance and analyzing metrics to support overall influencer strategy
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance to ensure quality work and budget adherence
  • Passion for understanding different cultures and global trends & able to travel to markets
  • Energetic and proactive, willing to roll-up sleeves team player who is a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
