Within our offices in Bagno a Ripoli (Florence), we are looking for a Health & Safety and Environment Manager Industrial. The person will report to the WW Operations Director. He/ she will oversee the safety of our 3 industrial sites (2 in Tuscany and 1 in Marche) with a scope of 450 employees, will identify and implement measures to reduce the risks for workers and environment. The ideal candidate will be largely focused on prevention, detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies.

Main Responsibilities

  • To be primary point of responsibility for plant daily HSE operations management for the 3 sites;
  • In coordination with the RSPP advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.);
  • Coordinate the emergency team;
  • Ensure the compliance with risk assessment;
  • Providing strategies to plan and organize work systems to reduce health & safety and environment risks and recommending suitable adaptations to plant, machinery and processes;
  • Identify issues or non-conformity;
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Identify and stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy;
  • Supporting the analysis of accident data, gap analysis and feedback in order to build prevention programs to improve safety and impact accident trends;
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to the WW Operations Director and to the Directors of the sites and to stakeholders;
  • Any other Health and Safety activity required by Fendi;
  • Provide technical training on any safety and environment related subjects;
  • Follow up the maintenance of the certifications ISO 45001 and ISO 14001;
  • Verify the correct application of policies and procedures on health and safety and environment


  • Proven experience in Health & Safety and Environment matters (at least 5 years in the same role);
  • BSc/BA in safety management ("Tecniche della prevenzione nell'ambiente e nei luoghi di lavoro") or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE;
  • In depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures;
  • Experience in writing reports and policies;
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Outstanding organizational skills;
  • Diligent with great attention to details;
  • Fluent in Italian and English
