Position

Based in Walkden, Manchester

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be available to work full time from April 2020 to April 2021

Mission:

  • Provide support and administration on all HR responsibilities in line with company and legal requirements
  • Support the HR team in the development of the department and the services provided

Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Provide general administration and filing of HR documentation
  • Support recruitment - advertising vacancies on various internal and external sites, screening CVs, managing and responding to applicants, organising interviews and note taking
  • Prepare employee documentation - new starter letters, induction packs, probationary letters
  • Carry out employment checks and reference requests
  • Complete and file documentation for new starters and leavers and ensure employee files are accurate and up to date
  • Update the HR employee database on a regular basis - employee information, absence records, training records etc.
  • Update internal reports and monitor absence, retention, recruitment etc.
  • Update HR documents e.g. employee forms, job profiles, department structures and training presentations
  • Support with employee relations e.g. preparing letters and taking minutes
  • Booking training, sending out course confirmations, updating training records and analysing feedback forms
  • Support the HR team with company handbook and policy updates and relevant paperwork
  • Support HR team with data preparation for monthly and annual reports
  • Produce quarterly employee magazine ‘Innov8'
  • Support department managers with general HR requests
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc department projects and data analysis

Profile

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required

Education:

  • HR or Business Graduate

Professional Experience:

  • Experience of working within a HR or similar environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent PC skills and experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and various software packages
  • Experience of producing and analysing reports
