Our highly successful team based in Chicago have a unique opening for an experienced, innovative and business focused HR Director. Reporting directly to the SVP of HR & with a dotted line to the LOCAL Regional Vice President this role will work collaboratively with our retail and corporate partners in achieving & exceeding business objectives through supporting & driving our employee life cycle in the following areas:
> Employee retention & engagement
> Talent & Leadership Development
> Performance management
> Talent attraction & acquisition
> Employee relations
> HR systems & processes, policies & procedures
> Compensation & benefits management
Working closely with the local Retail & Regional leadership team you will accomplish strategic & commercial objectives through the optimization of work force & HR planning while ensuring that business decisions focus on recruiting, retaining, developing top caliber talent for the business and thus further promoting our brand as an employer of choice across the market place. With an agile approach to your role, you will provide both strategic and tactile support & guidance to the business ensuring that our teams are fully aware and trained on their HR legal obligations & responsibilities.
Ideally you will have previously worked as a HR Generalist within a retail environment however we will also consider profiles from other customer services driven industries. With extensive knowledge of the local employment legislation, you will be a partner to our store managers on a number of HR initiatives and therefore a collaborative, business focused and agile mindset is key to the success of this role. Given the nature of our business this role will suit an individual who can work both operationally & strategically with the ability to build effective and collaborative partnerships at all levels.
