Position

Overview: 

LVMH Fashion Group is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to manage all generalist HR activities for SSC and multiple brands (Givenchy, Pucci, LOEWE, Kenzo, Moynat) across North America. Key areas of focus include Development & Retention, Employee Relations, and Reporting & Analysis. This position will support, coach and council managers at HQ and across the retail network.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits/Payroll/Budget/Data Reporting

  • Manage budgets, forecasts and strategic plans - partnering closely with Finance team, brand leaders, and HR Operations Manager
  • Ensure employee compensation is in line with budget and external benchmarks; perform market research as needed
  • Manage annual ICR process
  • Manage headcount management and terminations
  • Second level support for Leave of Absences and Worker Compensation

Employee Relations

  • Main point of contact for all employee relations issues across FGNA
  • Manage harassment claims, conduct investigations, mediate contentious situations
  • Manage performance improvement plans, involuntary terminations, and lawsuits
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment and safety laws
  • Manage performance improvement plans, involuntary terminations, and partner with legal on employee relations escalation

People Development

  • Continue to upgrade onboarding process with an eye on Employer Branding
  • Coach Managers in the field and corporate office on team leadership skills
  • Develop workforce plans to support the strategic direction of departments and future business needs
  • Execute programs that drive development of (high potentials) - utilize LVMH & Fashion Group offerings when appropriate
  • Manage Organization Management Review (OMR) efforts
  • Manage annual Performance Review (PCR) process

Learning & Development

  • Provide administrative support for registration, enrollment, and attendance of Learning and Development initiatives
  • Assist with ongoing efficacy and analytics of all programs/participants to shape existing & new programs

Talent Acquisition

  • Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team to support managers at corporate and store level on how to effectively source and assess talent, engage & develop teams
  • Key partnership in the compensation approval & staffing requisition process
  • Work with leadership to identify proper organization structures, proficiencies, and processes

General

  • Liaise with Maison Human Resource teams in Europe and LVMH Inc. in the US
  • Ensure the proper communication and interpretation of all Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Build effective relationships with internal customers and internal and external resources

Profile

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years relevant progressive HR experience
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and demonstrated HR sensibility and critical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
  • Superior organizational, communication, detail oriented, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including senior leadership and retail associates
  • Enjoys working in a hands-on environment with a strong sense of urgency and ‘can do' attitude
  • Ability to travel as needed
