Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for HR Compensation projects, Health and Wellness Benefits programs, and provides effective support throughout the employee journey. Performs a wide variety of responsible, complex and confidential administrative duties. Performs duties that require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, mature and independent judgment; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.


Profile

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
>  Responsible for HR Compensation projects, including annual review process
>  Reporting on market data and competitive analysis on compensation and incentive programs
>  Monthly HR reporting and analytics
>  Oversee Health & Benefits enrollment and ensure smooth onboarding for all new hires
>  Responsible for employees and dependent benefits enrollment and changes
>  Responsible for streamlining benefits processes
>  Effectively communicate and educate all employees on Benefits and Perks, including providing orientation concerning benefit plans
>  Lead annual Open Enrollment process
>  Manage 401k benefit plan, including processing payouts and loans
>  Responsible for all Leave of Absence cases, including communicating important updates to corporate and retail partners
>  Handles Short-Term Disability Claims and Workers Comp Claims
>  Processes monthly VEBA Billing statements for submission to Accounting
>  Communicates with Healthcare Providers and Benefits team to address employee concerns
>  Any other tasks as assigned from time to time


REQUIREMENTS

>  Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex work environment
>  Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
>  Ability to organize and keep track of important documents
>  Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise manner
>  Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person
>  Ability to accurately enter data into various payroll/benefits databases, and to produce accurate reports
>  Ability to understand and explain complex subjects, such as benefit plans, FMLA, payroll tax laws, etc.
>  Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
Requirements:
>  3-5 Years of Administrative experience, preferably in an HR/Payroll/Benefits capacity
>  Strong PC Skills
>  Knowledge of Ultipro and Empyrean is a plus
>  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
>  Ability to adhere to a set schedule
>  Strong planning and organizational skills
