Position

POSITION OVERVIEW:

A social media enthusiast, well versed in the various platforms and talent, a conceptual and creative thinker with a collaborative, personable approach to teamwork.  A can-do attitude, appetite to learn and adapt, fantastic organizational and time management skills are a must. Being a self-starter with excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation as well as the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment are critical.  Being a strong problem solver, solution oriented, and agile with a voracious appetite to learn will ensure success.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

Influencer & Talent Engagement 

  • Support Senior Director in developing influencer engagement strategies
  • Maintain relationships with influencers and management teams as well as identify new talent with whom to engage
  • Coordinate all sample loans and gifting/seeding for influencer projects including organic in partnership with PR team
  • Identify, propose and manage show attendance submissions and event dressings with Senior Director & PR team
  • Manage all influencer image event dressings with PR Team + HQ
  • Influencer project coverage clipping and recaps

Content Creation 

  • Create storytelling narratives around icons + launches along with talent proposals in partnership with Senior Director
  • Support with Vendor database + communicating with vendors for local production
  • Onsite support during US shoots and events
  • Support in selects + servicing of assets as well as communication between HQ + third parties (production + talent)

Sample Coordination 

  • Assist in coordinating samples for requests and manage returns
  • Facilitate sample shipping, logistics documents and management of messengers
  • Maintain Sample closet and showroom
  • Inventory samples from Buys in Fashion GPS
  • Track and report international sample requests monthly
  • Support other HQ department shoots as needed when in US

Administration 

  • Maintain contact database in Fashion GPS
  • Monitor and scan influencer, social media & press to create weekly reports and recaps of events & activations for HQ
  • Rankings, new platform, competitor, talent and trend reporting and analysis, communicating to Senior Director + PR team, working together to find opportunities to maximize coverage and maintain/improve ranks
  • Support Senior Director in managing project budgets, developing agreements and tracking of invoices
  • Responsible for management of Department credit cards
  • Collaborate with Communications Department including with Events & Special Projects, PR and Marketing and as well as other business partners
  • Keep abreast of activities in flagship markets (Beverly Hills, LA, Miami, NYC, Toronto, Mexico City)

Additional information

  • 2+ years of Influencer Marketing and PR/Sample Coordination experience at luxury brand or agency
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, in particular PowerPoint and Excel and meticulous attention to detail
  • Well versed in influencer industry and various social media content creation platforms with interest in entertainment and popular culture
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills. Thrives in fast-paced environment, works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines with appetite to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to lift boxes / weight up to 10lbs
  • Foreign language skill a plus
  • Networking aptitude
