Position

The Glenmorangie Company is currently looking for an experienced IT professional to join our IT team as Infrastructure Team Leader. Working as a member of a close - knit team and reporting to the Head of IT, you will ensure the IT Infrastructure and associated services meet all business as usual requirements while driving the delivery of key IT Infrastructure projects and IT components for other business led projects. As an IT expert, the successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to leverage IT technology in driving business improvements, working with external technical partners and central IT teams within Moet Hennessy. Technical > Management of the Infrastructure team ensuring project work is delivered on time and service desk requests meet agreed SLAs. > Manage any third party support contracts and relationships. > Work with international IT teams to ensure delivery of centralised services > Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures. > Ensure high availability of infrastructure services by ensuring business continuity plan is appropriately tested and up to date at all times. > Proactively manage all security related incidents using ensuring high levels of cybersecurity compliance as per group KPI's. > Proactively monitor systems, servers and networks. > Manage industrial IT and automation networks to ensure high levels of security, compliance and business continuity. Working closely with operations teams be primary contact for best practices of Industrial IT adoption and working closely with vendors to ensure high availability of services. Management and Business Engagement > Manage and develop the Infrastructure team to ensure adequate team resources and skills are in place for projects and service desk related activities. > Point of escalation of all IT service related issues. > Build relationships with business process owners to ensure IT services are meeting requirements and IT is bringing value to the business. > Work closely with suppliers to ensure services are delivered in line with contracted service level agreements and services provided are cost effective. > Ensure IT services are well adopted by the business to maximise IT investment. > Work closely with department heads to develop budgets and projects that bring value through leveraging our IT solutions. Projects and Strategy > Project manage key technical business projects and reporting to key stakeholders, managing risks, cost and deliverables from external vendors. > Deliver annual technology refresh programmes. > Work closely with the Head of IT to create an Infrastructure Roadmap that supports business growth and maximises our investment in technology.

Profile

Personal & interpersonal skills: Professional experience & know how: > Minimum 10 years' experience in technical role. > Experience of managing a technical team and working with external suppliers. > Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous as role will also require working closely with manufacturing and operations teams to manage Industrial IT. > Excellent team player > Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) > Strong planning & organisational skills > Pro-active > Excellent problem-solving skills > Flexible > Ability to use own initiative

Additional information

This role will be split between two locations: Edinburgh and Livingston and as such travel will be required with occasional travel to remote sites and within the Moet Hennessy organisation
