Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to provide integral support to the distribution team in Coppell, Texas. This person will be responsible for managing distribution centers and retail network accuracy in all systems. This will be accomplished through reviewing the financial loss related to inventory adjustments for both distribution centers and communicating to the third-party provider for the yearly contractual allowance review. Additionally, the Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring stock alignment, minimize physical and financial variances between systems to reduce the risk of potential sales loss.

The Inventory Control Manager will utilize an analytical mindset to facilitate the development of real time analytical tools in Power BI to support the Risk Management Department as well as the Supply Chain /Logistics group in order to be proactive on any necessary corrections to minimize impact. This role will be essential in providing daily KPIs on distribution centers and retail network to be proactive on any corrective actions within the same month. This includes daily communications with the Supply Chain/Logistics departments, as well as the Finance teams (including, but not limited to FP&A, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Sales Audit). This role can expect to oversee, and audit, physical inventories/cycle counts performed by 3PL and will collaborate with 3PL Inventory Control Process Leader to develop procedural recommendations to improve overall accuracy and efficient handling all managed inventory.


Profile

The Inventory Control Manger role would best suit an individual with 3-5 years' experience in inventory control systems and processes, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. With strong statistical skills and attention to detail, you will be self-motivated and are knowledgeable of the retail landscape. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy, with working knowledge and understanding of WMS/RMS concepts and the ability to learn more. Additionally, experience with Power BI and fluency in Spanish are a great plus.
