Position
The IT Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the management of cross-organizational projects that may involve all business areas of the company (manufacturing, delivery, retail, eCom, CRM, customer care, finance). Within the RIMOWA IT department, the IT Technical Project Manager will report to the Program Manager and will be the guarantor of a good understanding of the business needs and their answers in terms of IT solutions. You will be the de facto animator, orchestrator and preferred link between all actors and contributors of the projects you will be entrusted with. You will be the guarantor of project commitments in terms of budget, deadline and quality, working in an international context revolving around three main regions: Europe, Asia and North America.
- Understanding the business challenges and identifying the business needs
- Definition of technical solutions capable of meeting the identified business needs in collaboration with all the IT Domain Managers
- Launching and coordination of the various activities required to complete the projects
- Drafting of all expected deliverables (functional specifications, acceptance booklet, etc.)
- Ensuring the quality of the delivered projects in relation to the business expectations
- Ensuring that the project schedule and costs are met
- Ensuring of the Project Methodology (animation, follow-up, documentation)
- Supporting the business teams (stakeholder, project manager, etc.)
- Providing of the necessary feedback on all projects that is needed to improve the content of project management
Profile
- At least 5 years experience in project management with a strong IT focus, ideally in the retail/luxury sector
- Solid experience leading projects in an agile or V-cycle approach
- Solid experience with cross-functional trasformation processes in an international organisation with impact on different business units
- Ability to lead cross-functional project teams
- Strong sense of business issues and technical solutions. Capable of managing a process leading to the definition of solutions
- Proficient in project management (certification or experience in a consulting firm would be an advantage)
- Assertive and independent
- Dynamic, with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent English required, French advantageous
