The Junior Accountant supports the Local Management, in particular he/she supports the activities related to

  • A/P and Capex accounting
  • Cash & bank reconciliation, GL book-keeping
  • Maintaining relationships with the local and Head Quarter staff (when concerning Financial activities) and retail network (for support to Store activities)
  • Support to Finance Manager to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial statements
  • Compliance management


  • Manages the assigned companies' bookkeeping: Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Accurate and timely completion of accounts payable functions
  • Supports the cash reconciliation and the daily bank account management
  • Assist with monitoring fixed assets and inventory
  • Follows all administrative/ operative day by day activities related to legal entities under his/ her responsibility
  • Collaborates with the local accounting consultant for the local Statutory Accounts
  • Contributes to the realization of the annual balance sheet and local fiscal VAT-TAX coordinating and overviewing the local expert's work
  • Support Store Network for the assigned companies (i.e. administrative queries, support for specific compliance matters, etc)
  • Accurate and timely completion of compliance tasks required by internal control / local statutory requirements
  • Documentation filing with dedicated web solution


Skills and abilities required:

  • An Associate's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 year's A/P or general accounting experience in a computerized accounting environment
  • Knowledge to apply debits and credits correctly using basic accounting concepts
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Quality and accuracy of data output
  • Prepared to work with priority and deadlines
  • Autonomy, ability to develop trust worthy relationship in the work environment and sense of responsibility
  • Experience with SAP accounting software is mandatory
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good English required (Spoken and written); French will be a plus
