Junior Accountant, LVMH Inc. Location: New York, NY Reports to: Accounting Manager & Assistant Controller LVMH Inc is looking for a Junior Accountant to support the Accounting team in its daily activities. The scope of work includes 18 legal entities: Real Estate, Financial Investments and Holdings, and the position reports to the Accounting Manager & Assistant Controller. Primary Responsibilities: >  Assist with monthly close: analyze some GL accounts, journalize accruals and ensure the accuracy of transactions posted in SAP. >  Assist the Senior Administrator Accounts Payable: maintain vendor database, scan and process invoices and prepare payment proposals. Communicate with suppliers when needed. Back up the Senior Administrator Accounts Payable. >  Responsible for the control of the monthly Purchasing and Meeting Card transactions: communicate with each department to ensure that all receipts are provided in a timely manner, allocate the charges by cost centers and GL codes and journalize the transactions in SAP. >  Audit the Travel & Expenses reports and ensure their compliance with company policy. >  Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. >  Assist in the re-invoicing to affiliates for services paid on their behalf. >  Follow up with affiliates for collection, respond promptly to inquiries and requests. >  Prepare Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable monthly reconciliation. >  Handle additional projects as needed. Skills: >  Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. >  Experience in a Junior Accounting position, must be familiar with accounting concepts and procedures. >  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. >  Knowledge of SAP is a plus. >  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. >  Rigorous with great interpersonal skills, a team player, highly motivated and capable of working independently while remaining sensitive to deadlines. >  Strong analytical skills. >  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
