Position

Estates & Wines is a unique collection of prestigious wineries spread across 5 continents. Rooted into Spanish history and terroir, Bodega Numanthia is the birthplace of powerful and intense wines, iconic incarnations of the prestigious Designation of Origin Toro.

Reporting directly to the Estate Director and functionally to the Financial Controller, the Finance VIE is responsible for Bodega Numanthia Admin and Finance fields, being the main point of contact with the back office of MH España and with E&W Finance team.

Accounting and administration

  • In charge of invoices processing (invoice validation & codification) and accruals during accounting closings
  • Monthly report of winery activity to Estates and Wines central (Winey Dashboard)
  • Establish inventory and follow up for stocks (semi-finished products) and immobilizations
  • Expenditures and specific expenses monitoring (capex, T&E, A&P, cosact1 follow-up, accruals follow-up)
  • IT data manager
  • Support of Barcelona back office during closings

Reporting and support of operational controlling:

  • Reporting of actual data: OVH / Capex / Non-rec cogs - and analysis
  • Monthly winery P&L analysis (Visitor center sales, COGS, A&P and OVH)
  • Support costing follow up (dry goods, cost of grapes etc...)

Budget and Strategic plans:

  • Work with financial controller to forecast GSP/CAPEX and other costs and with Operations Coordinator for markets/vintages allocations

Internal Control:

  • Revise, improve and create standard procedures
  • Work on internal control self-assessments
  • Support the financial controller in transversal audits

Project leader:

  • SI improvement
  • Cost of grapes & traceability
  • Stock management optimization (semi-finished goods traceability)

Profile

Education : 

  • Master's dregree in Finance from a Business School

Languages : 

  • Spanish
  • Good level of English

Professional Experience and know how : 

  • At least 6 month's experience as an intern or apprentice in a similar position
  • Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs
