Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking a Logistics Seasonal for the peak season, based out of our New York City office to provide support to the rest of the team during peak season to ensure all core activities are covered. This role will include auditing and coding transportation related invoices for payment, submit to A/P and follow-up to ensure timely payment, handling billing and vendor set-up and manage all overdue invoicing, acting as the liaison between vendors and other departments. Additionally, the Logistics Seasonal will coordinate data entry of invoices with corresponding accounts for automatic vendor payment and answer discrepancy reports from the warehouse on all parcel issues.

The Logistics Seasonal will be responsible for providing shipment tracing information and generation packing list details for stores as requested, managing communication between stores and following up as necessary. This role will also assist in facilitating customs clearance by providing back-up support to the Customs department and post daily reports for stores and warehouses.


Profile

We are looking for individuals that have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related filed with at least 2 years of experience in a customer service related environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have prior work experience in retail or general reconciliation with the use of different reporting tools. Desired skills include proficiency in MS Office products (Advanced Excel: v-lookups, pivot tables, filtering, imports and data manipulation) and knowledge of SAP. Additionally, working experience with Power Query and Power BI, as well as fluency in French, are a plus!
