Position

Mission 

Manage logistics provider relationship to secure on time execution. Ensure proper control from Central to Zone for both Wholesale and Retail.

 Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 Activity and Performance Management

  • Act as Interface between Internal (Merch, Central Paris) and 3rd Party Logistics ops. Follow activity and alert if exceptions occur
  • Define and monitor KPIs, organizing formal reviews with both internal and external partners
  • Deploy Short term and day-to-day activities to ensure efficient response to all defined strategies

 

Shipping and Seasonal Inventory Deployment

  •  Elaborate shipping needs for the season, and plan accordingly with Paris and 3rd Party
  • Ensure the wholesale ship dates are met with no delay, and retail deliveries are scheduled to ensure that 1st stock in in retail stores
  • Liaise directly with carrier and broker for inbound to ensure that deliveries are brought to zone in time to meet all requirements

 Duties and Lead Time Optimization

  • Ensure customs rules are implemented and followed for imports in order to optimize the time to market
  • Optimize HTS codes to ensure accuracy foremost, while searching for possible duty optimization
  • Advise team of customs constraints, delays, and guidelines
  • Be proactive in customs compliance follow-up and study continuously new obligations and rules

 


Profile

  • 3+ years' logistics experience
  • SAP experience is a must
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Bachelors Degree preferred 
  • Knowledge, understanding and passion for the fashion and luxury-goods industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Solid analytical skills
  • English Fluent, French a plus
  • Organization and time management skills; with an ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
