Louis Vuitton is seeking a Logistics Coordinator who will be based in our Distribution Center in Cranbury, NJ three times a week and our Corporate offices two times a week. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for cross-team billing and will be providing transportation support to the Distribution Center teams (regular operation + Digital). As the main Point of Contact for Logistics at the Distribution Center, you will ensure all outbound and inbound flow issues are identified on time and escalated to the Corporate team as necessary. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the intra-DC movements of all crated items including quality inspections and stock accuracy. For special events, you will liaise with the team's Events Coordinator to ensure all activities at the DC are well coordinated. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Sales Admin and Staff Sales teams as necessary.
*Please note our Distribution Center will be moving from Cranbury, NJ to Piscataway, NJ in the Fall of 2019.
Essential duties of this role will fall under billing and logistics. You will oversee all cross-team vendors/reporting such as: P-card spending, destruction outside counsel, etc.. The Logistics Coordinator will audit and code transportation-related invoices for payment and submit to A/P, while following up to ensure payment. Within the logistics team, you will work to ensure all transportation activities happening at the DC take place per the vendors' SLAs. This experienced individual will answer discrepancy reports and work with the warehouse on any missing parcels or other parcel issues. They will be the main contact for all digital transportation inquiries and issues. Additionally, you will provide support to the staff sales team regarding inventory accuracy, event planning and execution and website maintenance.
We are eager to speak to professionals with a minimum of two years' of experience in a customer service related environment with prior transportation, distribution center and logistics experience, along with a Bachelors degree in business, logistics, engineering or a related field. This individual must be efficient and reliable, have elevated communication and organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, drive for results, and ability to work both independently and with other teammates. Previous experience in SAP is preferred and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a requirement. We are looking for an individual who has advanced knowledge of excel with ability and desire to utilize: Vlookups, pivot tables, filtering and conditional statements. The Logistics Coordinator should be self-motivated and resourceful, possessing the ability to complete a task without any extra instruction other than that which was given at the beginning of the task. The candidate must be very technologically inclined and comfortable with challenging the status quo where appropriate.
