Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Manager of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience will provide full-service recruitment for Corporate and Retail positions. This role will partner with Department Heads to own the Employment life cycle.  The candidate will liaison between Hiring Managers, Stakeholders, and the Human Resource team to champion the Marc Jacob International culture.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop innovative and efficient sourcing strategies for hiring quality candidates
  • Develop relationships with Industry related Schools, relevant Organizations to attract and hire for Entry level positions 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Organizational Development/Design to provide credible counsel to Department heads and Hiring Managers
  • Attract and recruit candidates by developing industry relevant relationships
  • Build strong relationships within the organization to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process 
  • Partner with the HR team to provide an effective and consistent on-boarding experience
  • Work with SVP of Human Resources and Leadership team to develop Employment Branding and Employee Value Proposition for Marc Jacobs International
  • Conduct Exit interviews to monitor and improve the company culture and Employee experience 
  • Provide regular feedback to Organization on Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
  • Manage the Organization's Job Requisition Process
  • Track and create reporting on Open Jobs for regular communication with HR Team and Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Hiring Manager to craft Job descriptions tailored to the needs of the business
  • Stay abreast of industry trends - be expert in recruiting function and share best practices 
  • Create job descriptions and gain an understanding of job duties, responsibilities and business requirements
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders
  • Demonstrate expertise in understanding position and competency requirements across levels, functions, and disciplines

Profile

  • 4-6  years of full life cycle recruiting experience  in the Recruitment of Design, Creative, Production and Marketing roles preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven experience with sourcing, social media recruiting techniques and other current web-based employment strategies
  • Proven success and ability to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage candidates and internal hiring managers
  • Sense of urgency to meet the demands of our fast paced environment with an outstanding eye for talent
  • Ability to interact and influence senior leaders
  • Resourceful, flexible, and team oriented work style
  • Effective negotiator with strong written and verbal communication skills
