As our Marketing Director you will be responsible for driving both short and medium term profitable growth for Parfums Christian Dior by delivering exceptional brand experiences in the marketplace within agreed strategy frameworks.

Profile

Key Duties and Responsibilities The right candidate will be responsible for: Marketing Programs and Presentation >  Overseeing and approving the development and implementation of overall Australian and New Zealand Marketing Programs and Strategies, including; o New product introductions o Promotional events and basic business building programs reflecting identified needs of market trade sectors. o Working with Parfums Christian Dior (PCD) Hong Kong and other subsidiaries as identified in the process. >  Marketing presentations to internal departments as required and Trade as requested Financials and Control >  Development and accountability for overall Advertising and Promotion budgets, ensuring costs are controlled within Budget/approved Revisions >  Evaluate results of marketing activity (P&L analysis) and use to determine future action >  Assist in presentation of Annual Business Review to Parfums Christian Dior (PCD) Hong Kong >  Ongoing assessment of product catalogue, pricing strategy, and new product forecasting to enable company to maximize sales opportunities >  Direct and support Planner in achieving targeted On Time in Full (OTIF) Media Strategy >  Development and implementation of media strategy and national advertising plan for both Australia and New Zealand Merchandising >  Approve Merchandising initiatives, ensuring all actions at all times reflect the corporate guidelines, including counter installations >  Display materials >  Planograms. Leadership >  Complete all leadership activities in a timely and effective manner, including; o Recruitment and selection of talented marketing professionals to enhance team performance and build strong succession plans o Identifying opportunities for and contributing actively to team development initiatives o Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture o Performance management and appraisal to ensure effective feedback and maintain a high standard of behaviour and execution >  Provide input to evolve company policies >  Participate in weekly review meetings to ensure all departments are informed in a regular and timely basis Relationship Management Building and sustaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including >  Marketing Team, General Management, Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Human Resources, Training, IT, Logistics and Customer Service Teams, Regional and Central Marketing Teams >  Retailers/Trade, Creative/Media Agencies, Press

The successful candidate will possess: >  Track record of adding value to the success of a company through an absolute understanding of its key business drivers >  Capacity to generate insights and the ability to predict future performance >  Credibility and ability to earn the trust and confidence of the management team >  Leadership experience with proven ability to motivate and create team spirit >  Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders >  Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related discipline required >  Post graduate qualification highly regarded >  Extensive (10+) years' experience in marketing and retail related field (Among which 5+ years ideally in cosmetics/luxury industry, experience in fragrance highly regarded) >  5+ years' experience working in a global /local structure >  In-depth knowledge and understanding of Australian retail and cosmetic trends, channel dynamics, and market situations >  Strategic thinking, creative, and self-motivating >  Solid communication skills, both written and verbal >  Fluency in English required >  Fluency in French highly regarded >  Results driven, proactive and organised nature with high attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure and manage competing demands >  Excellent presentation and strong communication skills both written and verbal >  Strong analytical, thinking and problem solving skills >  High level of motivation, energy and drive to achieve
