Position

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Assist in the day-to-day implementation of Guerlain Marketing plans across Make-up and Skincare in multiple Trade environments within given guidelines & budget

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

LAUNCH REPORTS & COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

  • Review and analyse Sell in and Sell out performances using NPD and Orion
  • Update NPD Sell out report on brand/franchises/competitors on main KPIs such as evolution, market share, etc
  • Assist the Beauty team in day-to-day analytical reports/performance deep-dive requested by top management
  • Analysis of competitor launches (store visits) and activity

MARKETING STRATEGY 

  • Assist the Product Manager with the upcoming product launches creating PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Make sure the marketing tools (Launch Calendar, Aurora, NPR tracker) are always up-to-date as well as all the available supports provided by HQ (Lau8954nch platform, visual, guidelines, etc) for the upcoming launches
  • Create price benchmarks & product mappings for new product launches and key assets

TRADE MARKETING IMPLEMENTATION

  • Working closely with the Beauty team to recommend Trade Activation Plans for multiple retailers across the UK
  • Close liaison with key stakeholders to gain feedback and ensure Trade tools are used effectively
  • Brand Guardian, ensuring all customer touch-points are luxury and meet brand guidelines
  • Evaluation and analysis of Activation Events, making recommendation for continual improvement and feedback to the business
  • Working closely with Head Office on implementation & approval of Marketing materials
  • Key contact with Area Managers and Beauty Consultants to support local event activities such as beauty rooms
  • Providing administration support such as processing, tracking local store events and Activation Pack dispatches and ensuring all projects are delivered on-time

Profile

LOGISTICS, FORECASTING, BUDGET:

  • Assist the Senior Beauty Product Manager in the forecasting process, updating working documents and working on analysis (Sell in, sell out, Sell through of defined benchmark)
  • Close follow-up on preseries forecasting and dispatch to the different departments making sure to update monthly budget
  • Responsible of the POs process and follow up with agencies making sure to update the monthly tracker and budget

PROJECTS:

 

  • Co-organisation of Brand Conference in collaboration with the fragrance assistant, supervised by the Managers
  • Contribute to the brainstorming of creative ideas
  • Creation of communication tools in collaboration with the fragrance assistant (Booklet, Infocus)

Profile

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
  • 12 months experience in Marketing in Luxury and / or FMCG
  • Strong interest for the beauty industry
  • Passion for numbers/analysis
  • French language a plus
