Position

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Assist the Fragrance Product Manager by carrying out daily tasks and project implementations of Dior Fragrance activity within given guidelines, timing and budget.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis

  • Responsible for monthly fragrance sell out reports
  • In charge of getting qualitative field feedback on new launches
  • Responsible for gathering, filing and reporting on competitive information (new launches and key retail animation periods)
  • Expected to go on a minimum of 1 store visit per week in London

Trade and field-force

  • Liaison with the commercial department on the promotional gift plan for the year
  • Liaison with the French production team to ensure the gifts are forecasted and delivered on time in full
  • Follow up on various requests from the field team

Events and animation implementation

  • Contribute to the generation of creative ideas within the department
  • Coordinate the implementation of animations both in POS and outside POS (engraving, new events, partnerships, sampling opportunities, sponsorships) in line with product manager's guidelines, timings and budgets
  • Communicate on those specials events and animation programs to the retail team and field team

Marketing

  • Help with the budgeting and forecasting of basic lines and new launches (POSM)
  • Develop and produce diverse marketing material, in line with the fragrance product manager's guidelines, timing and budget (POSM / Launch Material / Ad hoc mail out / Newsletters)
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team the POS VM updates for new launches

Media

  • Brief and follow up with the production agency on the approval of press, outdoor and TV formats
  • Ensure the media budget is rigorously kept up-to-date

 

To start end of January for a 12-month contract.

Profile

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
  • Previous  6 to 12 months experience in Marketing in luxury goods in retail industry and / or FMCG
  • Passion for luxury cosmetic brands
