Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager will directly report to the Regional Travel Retail Americas Director and will be responsible for the marketing/retail strategy and its implementation within the region.

Operational marketing: optimize and adapt all marketing resources available in order to meet sales turnover objectives (sell in, sell out) for all channels) + maximize brand visibility within the region.

Retail development: in conjunction with the Regional Travel Retail Americas Director, define and implement the regional retail strategy in line with the brand positioning



In constant connection with HQ marketing department:

-Clearly communicate marketing strategy and guidelines/tool boxes with distributors on a regular basis + update (monthly calls, newsletters ...)

-Build marketing/trade plans and A&Ps together with Area Managers and Account Executives, making sure regional consistency is allowed.

-Assist teams with implementation through decoration guidelines and follow up to ensure perfect execution

-Track and analyze new launches and promotion sell out results (quantitative and qualitative)

Best Practices

Regularly update the team, clients and with best-practices


-Ensure proper and regular visual merchandising strategy communication through guidelines

-Make sure, in coordination with local team, that merchandising guidelines are respected in points of sales and institutional material installed, through a regular network audit and point of sale picture database

-Build detailed planograms and visual merchandising guidelines for each new store opening in conjunction with HQ teams

-Coordinate with local printing agencies transparency update every year

-Assist sales team with hard merchandising projects, if necessary


-Define regional training strategy and secure implementation

-Develop adapted local training tools

-Manage training and event calendar for regional training manager and MUA


-Adapt and coordinate communication strategy between HQ and Regional team

-Assist with new e-commerce websites within the region


-Assist and organize (in conjunction with the Sales team and the Merchandising team) all "personalized counter" openings with saleable/POSM order, merchandising guidelines, special events, training action plan

-Make sure our "personalized counter" network always stays alive and animated through clienteling, training, merchandising guidelines (for each new launch), special events

Reporting & Finance

-Assist Business Analyst with quarterly reports

-Create animation reports, to be sent to HQ

-Assist sales team with business/client presentations

-Respect and track A&P budget



-Must have valid US work authorization

-Fluency in English and Spanish. French is a plus

-Excellent computer skills and software skills: excellent with MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint

-Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

-Leadership and diplomacy: able to collaborate well with others and work as a team while also able to be autonomous

-Self-driven and proactive: able to find solutions or come up with recommendations

-Minimum of 4 years' experience in perfumes and cosmetics or luxury
