Position Overview:

The Media Corporate Trainee will support the strategic development and implementation of all North America media initiatives for the beauty and fragrance division.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and update weekly media reports
  • Compile seasonal competitive analysis reports
  • Assist during the media buying process
  • Coordinate the efficient allocation of creative assets (e.g. ads, GIFs, etc.) for all media platforms, including print, digital, social, and outdoor
  • Manage media authorizations for all publications
  • Track digital media campaigns across social, display, online video, and native partnerships
  • Maintain media library
  • Communicate daily with the Paris office for project coordination
  • Support with billing and invoice functions
  • Oversee the production timeline and approval processes for all media placements
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

Qualifications & Skills REQUIRED:

  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-through practices
  • Ability to understand charts and basic statistics
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
  • Must possess strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail and aesthetics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Understanding of media buying processes and familiarity with advertising language
