Louis Vuitton is recruiting for a Watches & Jewelry Merchandising Coordinator based out of our New York City Office that will support the Watches & Jewelry Merchandising Director of Louis Vuitton Americas with daily activities of the team. Key aspects of the role include performing ad hoc analysis, updating weekly & monthly reports, creating content for the bi-weekly Retail Newsletter, responding to email inquiries from the retail team, compiling retail product needs and performing weekly stock rebalance with Supply Chain. In addition, you will assist in the preparation for the High Watchmaking & High Jewelry event by creating product tools, updating training materials, and tracking all sales while updating the internal files accordingly.
As an integral member of the Watches & Jewelry team, you will be the main point of contact for the store network to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. In order to keep the store teams updated on changes to the assortment, the Merchandising Coordinator will create or update tools (i.e. launch documents, look-books, and assortment modelarios) and distribute to store. You will also gather qualitative feedback while analyzing market trends and category product needs based on sales results to share with the Director. Lastly, this individual will create and update dashboards on both a weekly and monthly basis to use when sharing findings with both the Director and cross-functional counterparts to explain changing business needs and trends.
We are eager to speak to individuals with two to three years of experience in Merchandising or Financial Analysis, preferably in the retail industry, that have a strong product sensibility and knowledge of the competitive landscape with a passion for the luxury industry. In addition, the ideal candidate will have exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical abilities, such as organizing, evaluating, and interpreting data. You will be highly driven, organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines and you will have exceptional communication skills
