The Merchandising Manager, LTG is responsible for essential business strategy, buying process, allocation and distribution of the Womens' Leathergoods product category in the Americas Boutiques in accordance with total company strategic business plans.



  • Communicate and Partner very closely with Retail teams on client needs and day to day inquiries
  • Work closely with corporate partners (Retail Performance, Communication & Image, Training, Visual Merchandising)
  • Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and needs through store visits and competitor analysis
  • Support store openings and pop ups
  • Define store assortment by Leathergoods product category and by store cluster
  • Actively communicate with the Paris central merchandising team to provide feedback and outline needs of the market
  • Manage sales forecast and OTB process
  • Define and implement action plans to ensure business targets are achieve
  • Select/place seasonal market orders in Paris
  • Project seasonal sales
  • Review weekly sales reports ensuring planned sales and stretch are achieved
  • Manage product flow
  • Manage special order process
  • Propose incentive programs
  • Prepare markdown strategy
  • Prepare and review sell through report
  • Provide end of season (EOS) product analysis and final sales report

In close partnership with Supply Chain team:

  • Participate in open-to-buy (OTB) discussions and meetings
  • Weekly reviews of consolidation opportunities
  • Drive monthly reorders
  • Monthly forecast review
  • Prepare and review fast/slow sellers report
  • Discuss replenishment strategy



  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build reports, analyze results, and offer recommendations
  • Interest in fashion with a strong product knowledge
  • Ability to think outside the box when analyzing the business
  • Ability to react quickly to changing demands of business
  • Excellent organizational skills and drive for results
  • Technical ability to manage merchandising software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills



  • At least 3 years prior Merchandising experience
  • Strong understanding of Women's fashion industry (i.e. competition landscape and trends)
  • Advanced Excel skills (heavy excel workload)
  • Ability for frequent travel (including international)
  • Strong knowledge of all other Microsoft Office programs, specifically excellent skills in PowerPoint
