Louis Vuitton is currently seeking a Merchandising Manager of Women's Ready-to-Wear. This person will be responsible for developing and executing the merchandising strategy for the Women's Ready-to-Wear across LVA. Primary functions will include: develop and execute merchandising strategy across RTW collections in LVA, create and review analysis of merchandise at store level and propose results-oriented actions to achieve sales objectives; oversee all aspects of network expansion; maximize stock and operational efficiencies by partnering with supply chain; train and develop RTW team; communicate corporate strategies to store network; partner closely with Paris product team as advocate for needs of LVA markets.

This role will also partner with the Director of Merchandising to build sales and RTW category objectives, develop and negotiate Open to Buy with the Central team in Paris, create assortment plan by store based on local market needs and identify new business opportunities. The Merchandising Manager will participate in six buying session in Paris annually. This is a highly collaborative role partnering with Supply Chain, Client Development, Client Relations, Regional Merchandisers and much more. This role will also manage and develop a Merchandising Assistant for RTW.


We are eager to speak to professionals who have 5-7 years of luxury retail merchandising experience with focus in RTW. Strong analytical and financial acumen and well as strong product sensibility, deep knowledge of and passion for landscape and trends are all important factors. This person must have strong negotiation skills, a sense of urgency, and outstanding communication and influence skills.
