Louis Vuitton is seeking a Merchandising Seasonal based out of our New York City Office that will support the Men's Shoe business for a period of 5 months.  As an integral member of the Merchandising team, the Merchandising Seasonal will support the Men's Shoes Managers by generating reports, creating store tools & updating the Intranet, analyzing regular competitive pricing, organization of regional retail meetings, and other administrative support for the team. Key aspects of the role include generating and analyzing a variety of reports to recap the business on a weekly and monthly basis, creating store assortments plans based on local market needs for the region and participating in buying sessions.

With extensive experience in Microsoft Office, you will create tools in PowerPoint, Excel, and other web-based platforms for our stores including launch updates, Transversal and Men's Shoes modelarios and product books, and be responsible for all tool updates.  In addition, you will regularly update the company Intranet with the most up to date information, maintain the sample closet organizations with shipment coordination and tracking, and assist with customs compliance management for product being shipped.


We are eager to speak to individuals with one to three to five years of experience in Merchandising that have a strong product sensibility and knowledge of competitive landscape with a passion for the luxury industry.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical abilities.   You will be highly driven, organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines. Fluency in French is a plus.
