Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Merchandising Corporate Trainee will assist the Merchandising team in the buying, planning, and allocation for all Dior boutiques in North America. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present plans to Executive Leadership Team.


Profile

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile weekly, monthly, and seasonal style-selling reports
  • Create picture-selling reports
  • Monitor reroutes of Trunk Show
  • Prepare product knowledge information
  • Manage sample trafficking between the Visual Merchandising and Public Relations teams
  • Generate and update seasonal product knowledge buybooks
  • Order boutique uniforms and manage order requests
  • Assist with monthly consolidations
  • Facilitate communications between the corporate office and our boutiques
  • Create styling competitive analysis
  • Manage boutiques reserve lists
  • Work with the warehouse to coordinate for projects
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-through practices
  • Superior analytical capabilities
  • Retail math knowledge
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. V-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, sum Ifs, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of all other Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word & Outlook)
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
