Position

The Operations & Finance Director is accountable for all commercial & financial planning, analyses and consolidated reporting for TAG Heuer in the Caribbean and Latin American region. The incumbent will also be responsible for improving organizational processes and tools to enhance quality, productivity and efficiency. 


Profile

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the Operations & Finance team inclusive of Accounting Manager, Clerk, Business Analyst, Merchandising Coordinator and Office Administrator
  • Provide Operations & Finance support within the Management Team
  • Manage the monthly sales forecast using corporate tool (TXT), in coordination with the Regional Sales Directors
  • Manage the ordering process (3 per month) in coordination with HQ and local Sales team:
    • By providing accurate information to the sales team (stock available, prices, allocation)
    • By optimizing the process
    • By providing accurate information to HQ (shipping instructions)
    • Organize the collection and analysis of the business data (sell in, sellout, stock)
    • Organize/Develop/Standardize the internal and external reporting (sell in, sellout, stock)
    • Participate to the definition of the collection/assortment for the region
    • Coordinate the Budget process (Sales - Incentives - Discount)
    • Coordinate operations activities with LVMH W&J US
  • Finance duties:
    • Supervise monthly closing activities (validating journal entries, accruals)
    • Monitor company spending (analyze any variance with forecast)
    • Ensure compliance of the company with Internal Control principles
    • Coordinate the Budget process (OPEX - CAPEX)
    • Coordinate the validation of all CAPEX projects
    • Administrate the payment process (validation of payment)
    • Supervise the cash collection process in coordination with HQ and Sales team
    • Coordinate finance activities with LVMH W&J US
    • Coordinate legal activities with HQ legal department
  • Represent Finance in divers project: business development, systems.
  • Provide the best systems possible in coordination with HQ and LVMH W&J US

  • Understands Finance concepts and impacts of decisions
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and P&L
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Expert Excel skills
  • Proficiency in database management and expert in data/information manipulation
  • Good SAP knowledge
  • Prior experience with budgeting and forecasting
  • Adept at assimilating quickly to changes within a fast-paced business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to adeptly proactively prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints and with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop direct team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years work experience in Operations Management, Analysis, Financial Planning, Accounting.
  • Minimum of a BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree
  • The ideal candidate has experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination
  • A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
