Position

Job Purpose:

The Operations Manager responsibilities will include the supervisor and monitoring of all sales transactions as well as ensure stock management throughout. This position will require constant monitoring of Retail POS Systems and will be the key local contact with brokers, IT, maintenance and after sales as well as maintaining compliance with internal retail procedures.


Profile

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Masters and follows retail procedures and ensure Retail team is efficiently trained on them:
    • Related to stock management
    • Company Retail Procedures
    • Masters till and stock management software
  • Controls till transactions:
    • Supervises and ensures the accuracy of till transactions
    • Searches and corrects discrepancies sales and report them to CFO.
    • Review sales reconciliations with Cashier and Store Manager
  • Controls stock management:
    • Supervises and ensures accuracy of stock receptions
    • Organizes and participates to full inventory stock counts twice a year
    • Supervises and ensures accuracy of full inventory, cycle and display stock counts
    • Improves and controls security measures
    • Supervises price changes
    • Ensures accuracy of weekly control reports: negatives, zero cost and zero retail prices
    • Ensures and follows up on adjustments of negative items
    • Ensures cost and retail price are accurate
    • Ensures local and corporate POS are aligned
    • Ensures physical and accounting stock are aligned
    • Controls the stock in "BINs" (virtuals stocks)
    • Controls and follow-up on products sent in demonstration to customers and to the press
  • Prepares monthly report on Internal Control and for monthly closing
  • Follow-up and monitoring of the importation process between corporate/broker and store'
  • Assist CFO in specific projects as assigned
  • General services activities:
    • Manages store and office maintenance with service providers
    • Search and negotiate best rates with suppliers
    • Ensure all fixed assets are tagged at all times

Additional information

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Business Administration talk
  • Minimum 3/4 year experience
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Proficient knowledge of English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Pro-active and problem-solving attitude / outstanding organizational skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Retail Industry is a plus
