The objective of the head of Operations & Performance is to ensure that all functions and processes are operating at the designated level of efficiency for each business channel to achieve and exceed revenue goals. The person inaugurating this role will be expected to identify and build the necessary structures and processes to maximize and synergize the performance of all US channels. The priority being Customer experience and allocating focus to Retail (70%), Ecommerce (20%), Wholesale (10%) of the time.
Within an ambitious growth plan and entrepreneurial atmosphere, the areas of leadership and expertise include but are not limited to the following;
SUPPLY CHAIN - Product is arriving at the necessary speed and correct destination.
-Serve as US lead of local 3PL to ensure the speed and flow of merchandise is correct.
-Partner with FR and US Logistics teams to achieve the needs of the US business.
-Ensure all POS are transferring and sharing merchandise with a sense of priority.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES - We are confident with our customers and can provide exceptional service.
-Owner and author of the US Retail Polices & Procedures handbook and all related standards.
-Continuously evaluate store operating procedures and implement change necessary to increase efficiency at the point of sale.
-Ensure that new and established staff are fluent in all policies and procedures.
-Support and monitor Store Managers on managing budgets, expenses, and actions plans specific to certain locations.
-Lead Asset Protection functions for physical and employee security, HR issues, financial and cash control, shrinkage, and identifiable risks.
REPORTING & DATA - Information is easily shared and helps the teams make good decisions.
-Monitor and ensure that Sales and KPI data is accurate and provided in the correct format and a timely manner.
-Responsible for managing IS&T resources to guarantee that store equipment and systems are operating continuously and correctly.
-Maintain a consistent flow of communication between all channels, US Shared Services, and FR Headquarters so that teams are aligned on priorities and insights.
-Leader of Retail reporting for both local office and as main contact for FR Headquarters.
STORE & BRAND PRESENTATION - The brand story is told consistently and correctly.
-Responsible for the physical condition and maintenance of all retail stores and their systems.
-Oversee the organization and execution of the VM schedule utilizing internal and external resources.
-Ensure each POS has all necessary supplies and services to properly conduct business daily.
-Partner with Merchandising and Store Managers on the organization and execution of Brand & Product training for new hires and existing team members.
-Partner on special projects for Wholesale POS and Ecommerce.
INVENTORY & MERCHANDISING - We know what we own, have on order, and the right product is in front of the right customer.
-Partner with Inventory Control and Store Managers to be responsible for the consistent execution of cycle counts, inventories, and have a visibility on all stock movements.
-Resolve stock discrepancies with Store Managers and teams with a sense of urgency.
-Collaborate with Merchandising teams to ensure stores are executing the designated actions and strategies.
-6+ years experience in retail store operations; with 1+ years in a multi store operational role
-Experience at a European Brand, Luxury or Contemporary.
-Familiarity and experience working in a multi-channel business (omni or silo).
-College degree or equivalent
-Knowledge of several different retail platforms/ systems (i.e Retail Pro, CEGID Y2, etc.)
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Proven ability to build and create structures and processes that provide measurable results.
-Natural verbal and written communicator.
