Louis Vuitton US Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist. Reporting into the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for the administration of the bi-weekly payroll process to include auditing the timekeeping system and payroll data, reporting, calculating and maintaining paid time off records, calculating retro payments, maintaining associate personnel files, answering associate questions and problem solving.
The Payroll Specialist partners closely with leaders to ensure payroll compliance, compute wages and deductions, compile associate data, production and payroll data for bi-weekly payroll processing. Review punch detail reports, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records. Record associate information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records. This position is also responsible for staying informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process. Provide information to associates and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit deductions and garnishments and sure our processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem solving skills, is highly organized, effective oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines. Spanish is required for this position.
